About us

Freddie Crossley (b.1993) is an interdisciplinary artist working in the expanded field of ceramics. His work explores the epic in the domestic, how we live with loss and global crisis between our bodies, in the intimacy of our homes. In his making, material and craft become a catalyst for reimagining our relationship to the world around us.

Freddie is an alumnus of the Royal College of Art and the University of Cambridge. He was awarded the Märit Rausing Scholarship in 2024, he was a finalist for the Ingram Prize in 2025. Becoming emerged out of his work whilst Anglo-Swedish Scholar at Konstfack, Stockholm 2026.

Ville Mäkäräinen (b.1997) is a Finnish photographer based in Stockholm. His work explores the relationships between people, places, and material, with a focus on the emotions that arise through their interaction.

Influenced by surrealism, Mäkäräinen works across portrait, editorial, and fine art. His photographic roots are in skateboarding and fashion, where he developed an interest in movement, identity, and visual storytelling.

He later served as a military combat photographer in the Finnish Defence Forces before studying photography at Fotoskolan STHLM. Having lived in New York, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, Mäkäräinen’s experiences across different environments continue to inform his photographic practice.

Veronika Tybell is a Stockholm-based photographer exploring the emotional connections between people, places, and the traces of human presence. With a background in dance, she brings a sensitivity to movement, expression, and the human body into her photographic practice. Her work focuses on atmosphere, intimacy, and the quiet narratives found in everyday environments, capturing moments where memory, identity, and surroundings meet. Through a poetic approach, she creates images that exist between observation and imagination. She studied photography at Fotoskolan STHLM.
